LAWINE TIROL serves as the official application of the Avalanche Warning Service Tyrol in collaboration with Tiroler Tageszeitung. It caters to alpine tourers, freeriders, and individuals traversing the Tyrolean mountains outside of marked trails during the winter season by providing essential information pertinent to their activities.

The application features not only the latest avalanche reports and real-time station data, but also a range of practical tools including a compass, altitude and slope-inclinometer, and educational resources focused on avalanche awareness.

Furthermore, a dedicated section is available for members of the Tyrolean avalanche commission, facilitating mobile access to crucial internal information.
